Laypath

How to play Laypath

Laypath is a free browser puzzle game by InchUp. Players place blocks on a 6×6 board and draw a path from A to B; cells left unused crack and can become permanent obstacles. The Daily Quiz mode offers one fixed puzzle per day. Play at laypath.app.

Example Laypath boardA 6 by 6 board. Three blocks have been placed between A in the bottom-left area and B in the top-right area, and a path is drawn from A through all of them to B. One cracked leftover cell and two permanent obstacles are also on the board.AB
The tray below the board still holds two blocks: one of 3 cells and one of 2 cells.
Blocks are laid between A and B, then one path is drawn from A through them to B. Every cell on the path disappears. Blocks you don’t use wait in the tray.

The goal

Keep the board open as long as you can and score as many points as possible.

Each turn

Drag blocks from the tray onto the board. Once placed, a block can’t be moved. Then drag from A to draw a path to B. Every cell you draw through disappears.

Leftovers and obstacles

Placed cells you didn’t draw through stay on the board as cracked leftovers. You can draw through them next turn, but if they are left over again they become permanent obstacles.

The tray

Unused blocks stay in the tray, and the next turn adds exactly as many new blocks as you used.

Score

Longer paths score more. Each leftover costs 2 points and each new obstacle costs 5.

Continue

Once you reach 500 points, you can continue a lost game once by watching an ad.
