Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

This policy explains what information is handled when you play Laypath, the puzzle game made by InchUp (“we”, “us”), either in the Android app or on our website laypath.app. If you have any questions, email us at support@laypath.app.

The short version

Information stored on your device

Laypath saves your best score, your continue tokens, your sound setting and whether you have finished the tutorial. This is stored only on your device (in the app’s storage or your browser’s local storage). It is never sent to us. You can delete it by uninstalling the app or clearing your browser’s site data.

Advertising

Laypath is free and is paid for by ads. The Android app uses Google AdMob, and the website uses Google AdSense. To show, limit and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and use information such as:

We do not receive this information in a way that identifies you. Google handles it under its own policies; see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time: in the app, open How to play → Privacy options; on the website, use the privacy settings link shown by Google’s consent message. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings, opt out of personalised ads at Google My Ad Center, or block cookies in your browser.

Rewarded ads and tokens

You may choose to watch an ad to continue a game. Watching is always optional. Tokens are earned by playing and are stored on your device; they have no money value and cannot be bought or sold.

Analytics

On the website we use Google Analytics to understand how Laypath is played: for example how many people play each day, which country and type of device they use, how many games are started, the scores reached, whether the tutorial is finished, and whether a continue was used. Google Analytics uses cookies and a random identifier stored in your browser; it does not tell us who you are, and we never send it your name, email or other personal details. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only used after you agree in the consent message. You can also opt out anywhere with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. See how Google uses this information.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you. Google Play and our web host may keep standard technical logs (such as crash reports, download counts or server logs) under their own policies.

Children

Laypath is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Because we don’t hold personal information about you, most requests are best handled by clearing the data on your device or through Google’s tools linked above. You are always welcome to contact us at support@laypath.app.

Changes to this policy

If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and its effective date.
